Design Engineer for a client in Shrewsbury working within the defence programme team on heavy vehicle transmission systems.

For this role we need a contractor who is a UK National in order to comply with the regulations surrounding the bureau of security and industries, for the export of the company's product into their distribution markets.

We are looking for experience in theuse of CREO or knowledge of this package if you have experience in others, as training can be provided.

Experience within the transmission systems of heavy vehicles from Automotive, Aerospace or Agricultural Machinery would be an advantage. Ad in depth enginesand or transmissions draughting experience would be of interest. Designers that have worked on Mechanisms and mechanical systems would also be relevant.

This is a 12 month assignment for a project due to complete year end. However, the company do retain contractors into new projects thereafter.

This is a PAYE contract inside IR35 with a rate of £27.50 per hour with Holiday, Pension and Great opportunityfor development.

Hybrid working two days in office in Shrewsbury and the rest working from home.
