Individual Needs Assistant

Pay:
£77 - £95 per day


Type:
Full-Time


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 support to a child with additional needs.
  • Assist with speech and language development.
  • Support with movement breaks and social interactions.
  • Create a safe and positive environment for the learner.
  • Maintain enthusiasm for pupils' academic, social, and emotional needs.
  • Utilize effective and positive behavior management skills.
  • Demonstrate adaptability, flexibility, and resourcefulness in a highpressure environment.
  • Liaise confidently with other staff and parents/carers.
  • Work fulltime Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.

Requirements:


  • Relevant experience working with individuals with special educational needs.
  • Understanding of different learning styles and strategies to support diverse needs.
  • Effective communication skills with students, teachers, and parents.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in supporting the educational development of students with SEN
