Role - Catering Assistant

Hours - 25pw

Shifts - 09:00-14:00

Pay - £13.55ph

You will support and assist the Independent Living Catering Manager for the designated schemes for customers over the age of 55 ensuring service design and delivery is shaped to support customers to live as independently as possible.
You will assist in the daytoday operation of the restaurant and catering service in our independent living schemes ensuring a good quality and value for money.
You will prepare and cook food in accordance with menus, consulting customers and assisting with special catering functions.
You will work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a customer led, seamless service to all including volunteers, residents and external customers using the restaurant.
You will ensure that you are fully aware of your safeguarding responsibilities and direct referrals to the tenancy team and/ or other appropriate authority.
You will support the digitalisation of services within the independent living team and customers living in our schemes.
You will ensure that you operate in line with key policies and procedures particularly those relating to health and safety and data protection.
You will positively support activities that help promote the company's new culture and behaviours.
You are available to work out of office hours, weekends and bank holidays to meet the needs of the service.
When required you will deliver meals across our independent living schemes.
You will support the Health & Wellbeing service.
