Here at FAERCH UK we have an exciting opportunity for a
Production Operative to join our team based in
POOLE.

You will join us on a permanent basis working on rotating panama shift pattern (2 on/ 2 off/ 3 on/ 2 off/ 2 on/ 3 off.

06:00 - 18:00 & nights 18:00 - 06:00)

This is very much a 'hands-on' and physical role working as part of the production team, reporting to the Shift Manager.

As a
Production Operative, you are the last person to see the product before it goes to our customers, so a high level of accuracy and quality of work is essential (appropriate training provided).


Key responsibilities you will have as our Production Operative include:

  • Working within the allocated team to achieve planned manufacturing and efficiency targets
  • Ensuring all production documentation is available and correctly completed at the start, during and end of the production run
  • Adhering to quality standards, taking ownership of our products and delivering the best quality to all our customers
  • Communicating manufacturing status correctly via the production control system
  • Observing and following site housekeeping protocol incorporating 'Operation Clean Sweep' to ensure a safe and healthy working environment in all production areas

Skills and experience you will need to become our Production Operative:

  • Experience in a busy production environment
  • Able to follow direction
  • Good communication between colleagues and managers
  • Team Working
  • Practical interpersonal skills ability to maintain a high level of discipline associated with daily compliance of hygiene standards and safe operation of factory equipment
  • Ability to understand and follow company guidelines, policies, procedures and meet the required performance targets
