Description
We require a caring and enthusiastic individual to work part time as a Hotel Services Assistant within the Catering team.
This post is 14 hours working Monday to Sunday.This is a permanent post
Shift pattern is:
2 x 7 hour shifts over 7 days, working between 7:00 to 19:00, working alternate weekends, and Bank Holidays as they fall.
You will support the local delivery of hotel services catering and associated facilities activities, ensuring that they are delivered at the levels agreed and that they meet with full compliance with all appropriate legislation and local policies and procedures
You will need to be self-motivated, have a flexible approach to work, able to work as part of a team and have the ability to work on your own initiative'
Previous experience is an advantage, but not essential, as full training will be given.
The Hotel Services Catering Assistant is responsible to the Hotel Services Supervisor to undertake a range of catering duties, which include the preparation of beverages, snacks, salads, sandwiches, buffets and cooking of hot meals for both patients and staff within the Health Board.
To carry out other relevant duties associated with the catering operation and periodically those as directed to support the wider Hotel Services Team e.g.
cleaning or porter tasks.
