    Overview Position :

    Nursery Deputy ManagerHours : 40 hours per weekLocation : Norwood, SE27Salary : up to £35,000About the Nursery We are partnering with a vibrant and nurturing nursery in West Norwood, dedicated to providing exceptional early childhood education.

    Role Overview We are seeking a dynamic, motivated, and engaging Deputy Nursery Manager to join an enthusiastic team.

    This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to step into a key leadership role with the potential to progress to Nursery Manager in the future.

    Key Responsibilities Support the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day operations of the nursery, ensuring a high standard of care and education for all children.

    Inspire, lead, and motivate the team, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment.

    Assist in the planning and implementation of a creative and age-appropriate curriculum that meets the needs and interests of the children.

    Ensure the nursery meets all regulatory requirements and maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children, staff, and parents.

    Build strong, positive relationships with parents and caregivers, ensuring open communication and involvement in their child\'s development.
    Support the continuous professional development of the nursery staff through mentoring, training, and performance reviews.


    Qualifications & Skills Experience:
    Minimum of 2 years of experience in a nursery setting, with proven leadership capabilities

    Education:
    Minimum Level 3 or equivalent Early Years Qualification

    Communication:
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    Passion:
    A genuine love for working with children and a commitment to providing high-quality early education

    Team Player:
    Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider community

    Organised:
    Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively.
