Rethink Mental Illness are hiring a Rehabilitation Recovery Coach Support Worker to join our Cornwall Community team.

The role will be field based working in and around the geographical location of mid/west Cornwall.

We are looking for individuals who embody our values hope, understanding, expertise, equity, commitment, passion and openness?

A day in the life of....
- you will provide support to people with a mental illness - if you have experience of providing care and/or support services within another social care setting in either a paid or voluntary capacity your valuable skills can be transferred into this role
- learn and understand recovery principles and embed the ethos of recovery into your own practice.
- make a comprehensive assessment of an individual's situation and needs; to develop, implement and review risk management plans and devise support plans to meet these needs.


We offer the opportunity to visit the service to observe the work we do and talk about a day in the life of a Support Worker with the Service Manager - this gives you the opportunity to really explore the work we do as an organisation and insight of the work you will be part of.

We have opportunities for both part time and full time and are open to discussing flexible working.
