Production Engineer
Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Production Engineer to join a manufacturer company based in Farnborough.

Responsibilities as a Production Engineer:

  • Experience in the assembly of electromechanical components
  • Soldering, wiring, and cabling
  • Produce parts lists for assemblies
  • Carry out calibration and quality control checks
  • Ensure that all designs are met to a highquality standard and cost effective
  • Liaise with purchasing and suppliers to produce costings
  • Test all equipment before shipment
  • Produce assembly documentation and calculate assembly methods
  • Produce jigs and tooling to assist assembly work
  • Installation, support, calibration/ servicing may be required both in the UK and abroad

Requirements:

  • Previous experience within a manufacturing/ production environment
  • Soldering, wiring, and cabling
experience is essential

  • Competent computer skills, especially in all Microsoft Office packages
  • Must have a good attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a small team
This is a full time, permanent position. The working hours are Monday to Thursday 8:30am - 17:00pm, and Friday 8:30am - 14:30pm. Salary is £28,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience
