An exciting opportunity to work as a
Young Persons Care Assistant in the
BURTON UPON TRENT area supporting young people in a children's
SEN residential care & school setting.
About the role and Client
- An SEN Ofsted Graded 'Good' SEN school in
Burton Upon Trent Staffordshire which provides education and residential care for primary and secondary pupils. - Supporting SEN pupils age 819 on a 1:1 basis
- An exciting opportunity to work in both a residential home and school setting.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Supporting young people on a 1:1 basis with ASD, speech and language needs, and associated complex needs
- Supporting SEN pupils within the
care home and in the school classroom: - Assisting in personal care duties where required
- 3 days on 3 days off rota (7.15 am 10pm each day, followed by 3 full days off)

Education:
- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
Experience:
- care: 1 year (required)
Licence/Certification:
- child care or Health and Social care qualification? (preferred)
