Cherubs Preschool in Gidea Park is a well established preschool with a dedicated team and fun working environment.

Due to an increase in demand for places we are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and qualified practitioner with a level 2 or 3, CACHE or recognised Early Years Childcare qualification, with experience of working with 2-4 year olds, to join our happy team.

Qualities and Skills:

• Provide care and education in our safe and stimulating setting for all children in our care
• Have a good knowledge of the reformed EYFS.
• Key Person to a group of children.
• Keep records on children's learning.
• To work on own initiative/hardworking.
• Use your knowledge and experience to contribute to the planning and implementation of our early years curriculum, planning exciting activities for children.
• Work in partnership with parents/carers and team members.
• An excellent awareness of Safeguarding and Child Protection.
• Adhere to Health and Safety requirements, policies and procedures.
• Good communication skills.
• Committed to continued training to keep up to date with new developments in childcare.
• Current Paediatric First Aid (an advantage)
• A full DBS/Update service or willing to have one carried out.

Salary will commensurate with experience/qualifications

Hours:
Part-time : 18 to 29 per week.


Days:
Monday to Fridays within the hours of 8.30am and 3.30pm.
