An international commercial law firm is seeking a Senior Officer to join their growing client and matter inception team in Birmingham.

Key responsibilities will include:

Providing training and support to the team
Supporting recruitment, retention and development of the team
Leading technical training for the business on AML and conflicts
Conducting file audits
Liaising with senior stakeholders
Horizon scanning for legal and regulatory updates
Answering queries on onboarding policies and procedures
Supporting the business on AML, KYC and conflicts and acting as a central point of contact
Escalating issues to the Head of Risk & Compliance as needed
Monitoring output within the team and taking responsibility for quality assurance
Providing operational oversight and guidance
Ad hoc project work
