GSL Education are currently seeking Teaching assistants for a Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) school based in
Winchester.

This is a specialist school that provides all the specific needs for pupils aged who have difficulty managing social interactions and struggle recognising and regulating their emotions.

Many of the pupils have a diagnosis (or identified traits) of an Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC).

  • Relevant experience with learning difficulties and complex needs
  • Must have a positive, resilient personality that is engaging
  • Can provide 11 support or support a teacher with small groups activities
  • Able to work in a challenging setting with patience and understanding
  • Knowledge of PECS or Makaton would be of an advantage

- £80 - £90 Day rate
