About Our Client:
Our client based in Woking, Surrey are a highly successful business that have experienced impressive growth and are currently recruiting for an Accounts Receivable Assistant to join the team.
- Reviewing sales information to ensure that data is correct for reporting.
- Check and record receipt of all cash paperwork prior to the processing of data and reporting all anomalies outside the company's tolerance levels to the relevant managers.
- Assisting in creating monthly sales invoices and send to companies in a timely manner.
- Ensure each invoice is fully checked & reconciled prior to issuing to companies.
- Investigate and resolve invoicing queries from both internal and external sources.
- Adhere to agreed processes and controls, ensuring compliance with best practice.
- Assisting in the preparation & input month end Sales invoicing accrual journal.
The Successful Applicant:
- Accounts Receivable/Billing/Sales Ledger experience is ideally required
- Well developed IT skills: in particular Excel and Word
- Knowledge of SAGE 200 desirable but not essential
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- The capacity to work under pressure and determine priorities on own initiative.
- Good telephone manner with high level customer care skills
- You can be studying for an Accountancy qualification but its not required
- Good communication skills, both oral and written, including a good telephone manner and the ability to write clearly and concisely
- Good organisational and administration skills
- High levels of accuracy in the production of documents with close attention to detail.
