Production Planner - Broadway Colours Ltd - Office based, in Holton nr Halesworth

Broadway is a trusted manufacturer of colour and effect masterbatch, additive masterbatch, plastic compounds and rotational moulding powders.

Established a quarter of a century ago, our materials are used across many market sectors and are supplied to plastic moulders across the UK, Europe and beyond.

Many household brands have chosen to specify our accurate and consistent products for use in the manufacture of their plastic packaging.

Reporting to our Production Manager, we are seeking a Production Planner to help ensure efficient production schedules are created and maintained.

Key responsibilities:

• Create and issue efficient production schedules for all production areas
• Ensure that demand is balanced with available capacity to deliver optimum service levels to customers and internal departments
• Establish clear communication lines with the operations and sales departments regarding customer order delivery requirements
• Troubleshoot any purchasing issues with the relevant department when required
• Print picking and production order paperwork for the warehouse and factory

Experience and Skills

• Previous ERP production planning or similar supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment
• Good communication skills both verbal and written
• Ability to establish productive relationships with colleagues and other departments
• IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and ideally SAP Crystal Report writing
• Great problemsolving skills, a proactive approach and a targetdriven mindset

• Monday to Friday 39 hour week based onsite

Salary:
£25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
