McCarthy Stone are looking for a professional
Relief Care Supervisor to join their team


This is not traditional care, this is better

Development information:
: Knox Court in Rugby is one of our newest Retirement Living PLUS developments and includes 27 one bedroom and 35 two bedroom retirement apartments. The estate has beautiful communal facilities within a gated community. There is a luxurious lounge with free Wi-Fi, and the large courtyard garden and on-site chef-run bistro with ever changing seasonal menus plus barista coffee and cake.


Base Salary:
£12.56 per hour day rate and £10.42 sleeping night rate per hour plus additional pay (see below)

Hours:
Flexible (these are to be agreed with the Estate Manager (includes day and night shifts)

Our day shifts vary between 08:45 and 16:30 or between 16:15 to 09:30.

Our night shifts are from 21:30 to 09:00am

Our Relief Care Supervisors
sleep between 23:00pm and 07:00am providing emergency support only to our homeowners throughout that period.

About you:


  • You will be a warm, friendly, organised, and selfmotivated individual with experience of working in a care or support environment and excellent care skills.
  • Keen to take on the responsibility of managing the security of the development, looking after the safety and wellbeing of the homeowners, and overseeing the Care and Support teams.
  • Able to coordinate and facilitate activities that help strengthen the community spirit within the development.
  • Driven to continue to grow their skills and will want to lead by example and think on their feet.
  • Able to make a difference to the wellbeing and happiness of older people.
