Procurement Specialist
This is an excellent opportunity with Projecting Group working directly with one of our global banking clients.

Requirements:

Experience in key aspects such as:

Experience of working in a Procurement environment (A minimum of 3 years' experience in a variety of procurement roles)
Highly articulate, both oral and written and numerate
Outstanding relationship building, negotiation and influencing skills
Excellent analytical and organisational skills
Proven track record managing relationships and engaging both internal and external stakeholders at different levels of seniority
Proven ability to prioritise and manage multiple concurrent activities and delivery to tight deadlines
Excellent interpersonal skills, being both a team player and highly motivated selfstarter
Very good working knowledge of use of common IT packages
Have a solutionsoriented mindset and be conscientious in developing collaborative relationships and business stakeholders

Key Responsibilities

Build and develop effective relationships with key business stakeholders to understand the business needs and propose appropriate solutions in relation to procurement of goods and services.
Manage the Procurement (sourcing, negotiation and contracting activities) to ensure timely delivery of activities. This includes tender process and documentation, vendor evaluation and selection criteria, and the contract management to ensure compliance with corporate processes.
Manage the contracts renewal process for specific contracts as required by Policy by providing SME review (including the review of supplier KPIs), and challenge where appropriate.
Redesign the framework and mechanisms in place to monitor, review and validate contract and supplier performance data and developing mitigation plans with agreed actions.
Ensure appropriate business engagement at all stages of the procurement process.
Review supplier commercial proposals and options to ensure appropriate fit with both business requirements.
Support and drive change management initiatives for strategic procurement projects
Support the strategic reviews of individual suppliers and categories, using high quality market intelligence.
Influence negotiations with suppliers on all major issues regarding commercial elements of contracts ensuring value for money.

Location:
London, Hybrid working (2-3 days in-office)

Duration:6-month contract Inside IR35

Day rate:
Between £300-£390. Depending on experience
