Senior Software Developer

FULLY REMOTE

12 MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT

We are currently working in partnership with one of
the most famous and recognised universities in the world who are on the hunt for hands-on developer to come and work on an exciting, bespoke data-querying platform.

This position will beworking
alongside the head of Computer Science, therefore it is an amazing opportunity to soak up some exposure/training from some of the most intelligent minds in this space

As a Senior Software Engineer, you can expect to make
key technical decisions to help steer the path for multiple research groups across the university as well as contributing heavily to development and design utilising
Java and Scala.

You will also be responsible for organising/delegating work to other team members.

In order to be considered for this position you must have:

2 + years working with Java or Scala
Degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Engineering or Maths)
Strong understanding of Computer Science fundamentals (Data Structures, Sorting and Searching)
Understanding of UI frameworks (HTML AND CSS)
Clear and strong communication skills
