International Accountants Assistant l Manchester l Hybrid | Up to £35k l Study Support

As the International Account Assistant,you'll be responsible for a variety of the day-to-day financial operations for the companies International entities (LATAM presently).


You will report to our Group Management Accountant to support key business objectives.


Salary:
Up to £35k


Location:
Manchester City Centre


Main Duties:


  • Monthly billing process for Brazil and Colombia
  • Ensure the Colombian AR is up to date and reconciled.
  • Assist our incountry accountants with AR & AP processes for the entities.
  • Bank and other account reconciliations
  • Post monthly journal entries such as supplier invoice accruals.
  • Assist with migration of international entities into Oracle.
  • Day to Day processes for Australian Branch inc. AR, AP, Banks, and Payment Processing
  • Work with the Group Management Accountant to meet deadlines for month end and ad hoc reporting into Uber.
  • Assist the UK transactional team where possible/required.

Person Specification:


  • Previous experience working in a similar role involving international entities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work within deadlines.
  • Solid teamworking skills and willingness to help with other team members.
  • Selfmotivated and ability to work independently where required.
  • Knowledge of Oracle and Salesforce would be an advantage.
  • Spanish or Portuguese speaking would be an advantage.
