- We have an opportunity for a Locker Operative to join our team at Hinkley Point C, Somerset, TA5 1UD. This is a full time role working 39 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 8am 5pm, Friday 8am4pm.
- The main aim of the role is working as part of a team and assisting the Locker Supervisor in the allocation of lockers and completion of full locker audits on a prescribed basis. This will also include the issuing of padlocks and keys to staff and keeping up to date records while coordinating with a nominated person from all Tier 1 contractors.
Key Responsibilities:
- To allocate and manage all personnel lockers as approved and required to be assigned to individual workers at HPC through the life of the construction.
- Assist in the reallocation of combination lock codes and the allocation of master keys when a worker forgets the combination for their own padlock.
- Ensure that all lockers are individually and accurately numbered.
- To coordinate with all Tier 1 contractors and HPC managers to ensure that all workers are aware of the locker and changing room policies and procedures.
- To assist in the completion of weekly and monthly locker audits for the client as directed by the Locker Supervisor.
- Making sure all lockers are fit for purpose and reporting any defects so they can be resolved quickly.
