We have an exciting opportunity for a new position at the Japanese Ramen Dining, TENMARU in London. We have two branches across London, one in Finsbury Park and the other one in Oxford Circus.

As we are expanding our brand, we are looking for someone with a deep and comprehensive experience and knowledge on Japanese and Korean cuisine.

He/she has to have versatility, creativity, and the ability to adhere to dietary requirements locally.

Usual working hours would be from 10 am-7 pm, but some flexibility is required when necessary.

You will be working up to 5 days per week with days to be determined; flexibility is also required to work weekends.

DUTIES TO INCLUDE, BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO:

• Menu planning in line with dietary requirements
• Develop and improve both existing and new menu that matches our brand and target audiences.
• Liaising with the principals and other household staff to ensure the smooth running of mealtimes
• Sourcing high quality, and where possible locally sourced, ingredients
• Maintaining hygiene standards to the highest level
• Food quality control
• Liaising with PA and principal on event details when required

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

• Deep and comprehensive knowledge on Japanese/Korean cuisine
• Ability to communicate smoothly and effectively within the team
• Experience in planning, developing and improving
• Handson approach
• Strict hygiene procedures
• Highly organised, motivated, and proactive
• Trustworthy, reliable, punctuality and discreet

Salary:
£36,000.00 per year
