Faculty / Directorate


The Estates & Facilities Directorate is large and diverse, employing about 300 people, ranging from plumbers, electricians, carpenters, cleaners, porters, leisure centre assistants to property management professionals, architects, project officers, CAD,space management, sustainability and energy and administrative personnel.


The recent award-winning campus transformation project has created a first-class city centre campus that fully integrates with the West End, historic quarter and Leicester's city centre.

Role


Based at the Leicester campus you will work 37 hours over a 2 week shift rota pattern between the hours of 07.00am and 18.00pm Monday - Friday.

This position is part time where you would be working 18.5 hours each week.

You will be part of a team providingan efficient and effective service to the teaching and administrative area of the University Campus.


This role includes:

providing an efficient goods in/out, along with waste/ recycling waste disposal service within a flexible approach and attitude in providing a high standard of customer service which enhances the day to day working and learning experienceof Staff and Students.

Also experience in a similar environment and good understanding and awareness of Health and Safety requirements, along with a flexible approach to providing this service.

You will be a detail oriented professional with experience of working effectively within a team environment.

You will have the ability to prioritise and organise your workload with mínimal supervision in a logical and transparent manner whilst adhering todeadlines.

You will have excellent customer service/communication skills with the ability to answer queries and communications in an accurate, appropriate and timely manner.

You will be a proactive team player. Good working knowledge of Health & Safety isalso important, along with having a full driving licence.
