Fire & Security Engineer

Soham, Cambridge

£28,000pa to £32,000pa DOE

Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm


Due to the nature of the position you will require a full UK drivers licence to drive the company van.


What you will be doing:


  • Install & service fire alarm systems, security alarm systems & emergency lighting systems
  • Attend system fault calls.
  • Inform the office immediately of any major failures or site problems.
  • Accurate training and handover of systems to clients
  • Ensure all necessary paperwork is obtained and processed promptly
  • Providing an exceptional customer experience
  • To build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Complete maintenance engineers' reports.
  • Complete van stock & can condition reports
  • Assist other departments when required.

About you:


  • Previous experience in install or servicing security or alarm systems
  • A junior would be considered if you have a strong desire to learn the industry
  • Ability to pass DBS & security checks
  • Full UK drivers licence is essential
  • IPAF / PASMA & ECS card
