In-House Legal Counsel

A leading media organisation are expanding their In-House Legal team, and as such are recruiting an In-House Solicitor/Legal Counsel (2 years+ PQE) to join them.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing and evolving organisation, with exciting newprojects such as data mining/tech products.

The successful In-House Solicitor/Legal Counsel will join three other In-House Lawyers.

You will be responsible for a mixed case load including both project-led work and advisory on aspects such as:

Commercial
Licensing
Strategy
Technology
IP
Copyright

The successful In-House Solicitor/Legal Counsel will offer the following skill set/background:

2+ years PQE.
Ideally with some In-House experience, or seconded whilst working within Private Practice not essential
Experience of advising on a range of commercial/IP matters, with mínimal supervision
A clear, pragmatic approach to problem solving
Commercial

awareness

A keen team player
Ideally experience of dealing with large brands not essential
Strong communication skills, with ability to develop and maintain professional qualifications

The successful In-House Solicitor/Legal Counsel will largely work on a remote basis, but occasional travel to the Head Office in Kent would be preferred (once per fortnight).

Applications will be considered from those who wish to work Full-Time or Part-Time.
