The National Training Manager is responsible for developing and implementing all training requirements for the company and driving forward new training initiatives in consultation with the Head of Training and the Clinical Compliance and Training Director.
The National Training Manager manages a large team of trainers and senior trainers for our branches throughout the UK and is responsible for ensuring business coverage, running extra training and updating courses.

The main duties of the National Training Manager role include:
- Ensure that statutory training requirements are met.
- Identify training and development needs within Nurseplus.
- To plan and develop strategies in relation to training and development within Nurseplus.
- Design and expand training and development programmes based on the needs of the organisation.
- Oversee the Senior Trainers to ensure regular monitoring and supervising of the trainers.
- Oversee the Trainers to ensure they are supported and meeting the required standard.
- Oversee the Training Administrator to ensure that the Coordination of training for the company is being effectively managed.
- Have a high level of awareness of the training spend and ensure training is delivered in a cost effective way.
- Work flexibly, as required, on any Nurseplus site or external premises.
- Teaching/Training Qualification is desirable
- Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification is desirable
- Knowledge of management development programmes
- Knowledge in the best practice of training
- Experience within a similar role
- Experience managing a large team
- Experience within the healthcare industry
- A full UK driving licence
