Remit:

To support the class teacher's responsibilities by being proactive in addressing needs that develop in the classroom and outside during the day.

to enhance the educational experience for all students while assisting the class teacher in concentratingon teaching and learning.

Roles and Responsibilities_

To aid children's educational and social growth.
To safeguard the safety of all students, including children, adolescents, and vulnerable adults, within the school.
Complete annual Safeguarding training and understand and follow all Safeguarding policies and procedures.
To report any safety problems as soon as possible.
Be attentive in reporting all health and safety issues, and accept personal responsibility for your own health and safety.
Assist with the implementation of personal goals and record keeping, as well as tracking progress over time.
To provide effective assistance for entire classes, individuals, or groups of children both within and outside of the classroom in order for them to fully participate in activities.
To provide interventions for individuals or small groups as needed.
