Ultra Precision Control systems are looking for a Manufacturing Operator to join the manufacturing function at PCS.

The manufacturing function is responsible for the manufacture, integration and test of a wide range of products and systems providing innovative capabilities for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To manufacture high precision products from detailed engineering drawings for the aerospace industry.
  • To manufacture a variety of subassemblies for use with Ultra's range of high precision products using appropriate tooling and processes in accordance with the individual's scope of approval.
  • Setup tooling such as presses, drills, special to type tooling etc in accordance with controlled documentation, and in accordance with the individual's scope of approval.
  • To ensure that all build documentation is completed in accordance with company procedures.
  • To maintain training records in accordance with company procedure as evidence of work carried out.
  • Full understanding of the expectations and requirements of being an Ultra PCS certified Stamp Holder.
  • Complete all tasks in accordance with the relevant drawings, manufacturing instructions process sheets and specifications.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Familiar with Code of Practices and IPC620A Standards not essential as training will be provided.
  • Previous experience in a precision assembly environment
  • Must be able to attain BPSS level security clearance
