About the role:


Technical Support Assistant - Aerosols

Kingston upon Hull, East Yorkshire

This unique role is set within our aerosols technical support team, focusing on solving technical issues while working to avoid or minimise corrosion in our global aerosol products.

We achieve this by means of formulation choice, testing on corrosion inhibition and specification of robust packaging.


You will become an expert in the technical support available for aerosol categories company-wide, working closely with key collaborators of all levels, to solve problems with manufactured product.


Your responsibilities:


  • Providing cross category support on new and existing product developments.
  • Running tests to assess aerosol packaging components and working with suppliers to develop and prepare robust specifications
  • Updating on the aerosol technical service available to stakeholders and collaborators.
  • Providing practical and timely business solutions to overcome and/or prevent aerosol corrosion or spray issues on the marketplace
  • To ensure that all aerosol related test methods are robust, validated and satisfy both the internal requirements and that of external bodies globally
  • Challenging the status quo through the implementation of new techniques, with continuous improvement at the forefront.

The experience we're looking for:


  • A Scientific degree
  • Lab experience with a familiarity of formulation techniques.
  • You're independently minded, you have a healthy curiosity and will actively seek out additional information when you need it.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
