Position:
Night Transport Administrator

Location:
Harworth, DN11 8QA

, Night Shift / 6pm - 6am (4-0n, 4-off)

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and oversee the movement of vehicles and drivers during night shifts.
• React promptly to customer requests throughout the night, providing timely updates and acknowledgments.
• Manage and schedule transport assignments efficiently, optimising routes and resources.
• Book loads to subcontractors at the right price, negotiating agreements when necessary.
• Liaise with drivers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
• Monitor and track fleet activity using transport management systems.
• Handle administrative tasks such as maintaining records, processing paperwork, and generating reports.
• Address any issues or concerns that arise during night operations, providing quick and effective solutions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and legal requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to support overall operational objectives.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in transportation administration or a related field.
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in using transport management software and other relevant tools.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Flexibility to work nights shifts and weekends as required on a 4on 4off rota.
• Knowledge of transport regulations and industry best practices is a plus.

£30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
