We're searching for a Senior Leisure Attendant to join our team at our luxury development Oxygen in Manchester
As a Senior Leisure Attendant, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the leisure services in the development, including swimming pool supervision, plant room operations, changing room and gym cleaning and staff rotas whilst maintaining exceptional service and standards

What will you do?
Supervise the security and safety of the residents ensuring enjoyment in all areas of the leisure facilities.

Comply with the wet leisure PSOP (Pool Safety Operating Procedures) at all times.

React effectively to any emergencies following the PSOP and RLSS (Pool Lifeguard Qualification) guidance.

Carry out daily Health and safety inspections of the wet leisure areas.

Complete legal and preventative maintenance of the plant room including water testing, backwashing and chemical handling.

Ensure a high level of cleanliness and hygiene is maintained at all times.

Pro-actively deal with any maintenance and problems identified. To fix, repair, maintain or clean any area or problem if able to do so (i.e. light bulb changes).

Assist in the opening and closing of the leisure facility whilst maintaining high security.

Be responsible for leisure attendant rotas

Track stock levels and keep accurate stock management records

Handle general enquiries, queries and complaints from residents in a professional manner.

Monitor the swimming pool CCTV and emergency alarm systems at all times.

Be responsible for personal safety by following the safe systems of work set in place.


What are we looking for?

Essential:

-
NPLQ Qualification or RLSS Qualification:

  • Customer Service experience
  • Previous work as a Lifeguard.
  • Have an understanding of plant room operations.
  • Excellent customer service skills, including dealing with difficult situations.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft office packages including Word, Excel and Outlook as well as other systems such as databases or booking systems.

Desirable:


  • First Aid trained
  • Pool plant operations level
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft office packages including Word, Excel and Outlook as well as other systems such as databases or booking systems.
