WHAT TO EXPECT


We are looking for EMC Project Coordinator to join our Engineering Test Operations department to supports the delivery of the Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) sign-off of vehicles and components from concept to end of volume production to ensure all vehicles meet the necessary legislative, corporate requirements, and quality attributes.


In this position, you will play a key part in our day-to-day operations and delivery test programmes through JLR internal test facilities.


As EMC Project Coordinator you will support planning, scheduling and delivery of vehicle and component testing, review EMC test requests/plans, support technical and operational engineers to deliver test suites within time and standards.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • Making use of all test assets by utilising planning tools.
  • Submitting monthly reporting on performance KPIs and facility utilisation indicators as specified by the Laboratory Operations Manager
  • Create a test facility strategy in collaboration with the EMC Technical leaders to aid in JLR product development. To guarantee the prompt creation of EMC test reports.
  • Assist in the development of corporate quality policies and other initiatives by the larger engineering test operations team.
  • Managing the available resource to ensure that the laboratories are staffed and testing always supported.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Strong project management/process management skills.
  • Professional attitude with a strong customer focus.
  • Previous experience in a similar engineering role in a test facility.
  • Previous experience as an EMC Technician/Engineer in an automotive or Aerospace/Aviation environment.
  • Valid Driving Licence.
