The Eggfree Cake Box is a thriving, large franchise company which specialises in fresh cream celebration cakes. We are one of 190+ plus branches in the UK and growing monthly. We are hoping to find someone local to Newport however not essential as long as you have impeccable punctuality.

We need someone who has great flexibility in the days they can work across the week, and wants to put work as a priority in their life.

Previous customer service is essential, if you have worked in food retail or customer service before, it would be a bonus.

You will be trained and supervised from the start date.

you won't need any experience in cake decorating as you will be trained and supervised from day one.
Experience of working in retail/kitchen could be an advantage.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Running the store, managing a team maintaining the standard and quality of products supporting the General Manager
Ensure effective stock control and minimise wastage by maintaining accurate records and responsible stock ordering
Ensure compliance with all cash handling and card payments using an EPOS system,site security and administration policies and procedures
Ensure the store is clean appropriately presented and stocked at all times
Ensure the store complies with all relevant health and safety/ food hygiene legislation
Taking daily fridge temperatures and other Safer Food Better Business processes
Keeping a check on quality of cakes leaving the Store
Complaint handling
Manage and run store in the absence of the General manager
Liaise with the Senior Store manager, Area Manager and Head office
Maintain store standards and food safety standards as per head office instructions
Able to manage store complaints and customer complaints effectively and in a timely manner
Report any issues from Store level up to General manager, Area Manger & Head office
Cashing up at the end of each day

Must be
18+

Monday-Saturday 9am-6pm Sunday 10am-5pm working days would vary
