Your Day-to-day duties in the role

The Senior Craft Person is responsible for installing electrical wiring and associated materials to 18th Edition Regulations (BS for all packaged plant rooms and on-site maintenance (Electrical), control panel assembly, wiring and testing (Controls).

Experience/Skills and Education Requirements

Kitting of component parts in accordance with bill of materials
Fitting out and assembly of control panels
Wiring of control panels
Electrical safety testing
Functional testing of control panels
Observe goods inwards inspection procedures
Observe goods outwards, packing and dispatch procedures
Extensive experience within a control panel manufacturing environment
Basic computer skills
Specific training given for company software programs
ECS Card Holder
To correctly install all electrical parts and components including inspection and testing
To ensure the electrical installation programme runs to schedule and on time
To report any problems to the Electrical Supervisor in order for them to be relayed to Production
On time completion of work to work to deadlines to meet Production requirements
To work in a safe and tidy manner with regards to company and H&S regulations and Electricity at Work Act 1974
