Sales Support Associate (maternity cover)

• 1 year fixed term contract:_
• Monday Friday, 9am5.30pm_

We are looking for an outgoing and personable individual who has a strong persuasive technique to join our Sales Support team.

This will be to provide cover for an administrational role.

• Two or more years of experience in sales or customer service
• An excellent ability to communicate (in writing and verbally)
• Be friendly and approachable with others
• Proficiency with technology
• Organised and maintain a positive attitude
• Education to Alevel standard (or equivalent)
• Experience within the optical industry could be an advantage

We're a small, friendly team and offer excellent working conditions. Training will be provided.

• Manage data processing of all orders
• Maintain a good working knowledge of Sage software
• Maintain general contact for all customers to include queries, orders, and invoicing
• Ensure traceability on all orders
• Manage phone calls and correspondence
• Assist with Purchasing administration, maintaining a good relationship with suppliers
• General office administration, to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies
• Maintain knowledge of other roles within office to cover basics if required
• Maintain an understanding about product features, and technical specifications to answer specific customer questions
• Create and update customer database
• Assist with general sales and marketing administration

Job Type:
Fixed term contract

Contract length: 12 months


Salary:
£21,000.00-£23,000.00 per year

• Monday to Friday
