Description

Our client based in Audenshaw; Manchester is looking to recruit Machine Operator to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis.

The role would suit Machine Operators/Operators who have worked within a metal rolling production environment, Press Break or Roll Rolling Machine.

Duties include:

Measuring and checking material length and thickness
Operating press machines
Understanding of engineering drawings (Radius, dimension, angles etc)
Movement of small and large items either by hand or with the use of 3 & 10 Tonne overhead gantry crane with pendent control (previous experience would be advantageous but not essential)
Help secure items ready for delivery
Maintenance and upkeep of workstation and surrounding areas
Working as part of a team
Ensure a high standard of accuracy
Ensuring products are produced in line with customer specifications.
Counterbalance Licence preferable.

Working hours:

Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 4.30pm
Friday 8.00am to 1.00pm (maybe required to stay until 3.00pm depending on business needs)
