Parts Inspector required for a leading Valve Manufacturing Company

BIS Valves, located in West Moors are looking for a parts inspector

Previous inspection experience is essential
To inspect all manufactured and bought in parts
To calibrate inhouse measuring equipment
Demonstrate experience using various calibrated inspection measurement tools such as micrometres, callipers, roundness measurement, surface texture, etc.
Perform inspections using process instructions, documentation and standard procedures.
Read and interpret engineering drawings.
Have the capacity to think analytically and formulate decisions driven by data.
Support Non-Conforming Parts Reports
To be focused on detail
Communicate quality and engineering issues to all levels of employees.
Support quality decisions and challenge constructively.
Demonstrate good communication skills, both oral and written.

37 hours per week (Mon-Thurs 8am-4.30pm, Fri 8am-1pm)
