Senior Project Manager

The Company
This Senior Project Managers role is with one of the UK's leading main contractors. Operating primarily in the new build sector with projects ranging in value from £10 - £200m. Typical project types span most private and public sector works and this roleis within their Southern division that covers London and Home Counties


The Role


We are looking for a Senior Project Manager with experience of leading industrial/distribution/logistics new build projects with values ranging from £20m - £80m.

You will need to be multi-skilled and be able to take projects from feasibility through to onsite delivery.

We are looking for a good all-rounder and your role will include:


  • Overall responsibility for the success of a project ensuring it is handed over on time, to the client's expectations and within budget.
  • Develop and implement project programmes.
  • Identify quality expectations and ensure these are achieved.
  • Facilitate site establishment and site logistics.
  • Manage all statutory and company requirements for managing Health, Safety and environment compliance.
  • Understand the contractual requirements of the project.
  • Identifies and manages risk.
  • Ensure delivery against the project budgets including profit, preliminaries, procurement etc.
  • Contribute into supply chain selection
  • Agree requirements for time, cost and quality aspects of trade contractor packages.
  • Maintaining good relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
