North Bristol NHS Trust are seeking an experienced Administrator.

An exciting opportunity has become available to join the Learning & Development Team at Southmead Hospital to facilitate and Administrate the Trust Induction Programme.


  • Provide a comprehensive administrative service to the Induction Team.
  • Take responsibility for dealing with all enquiries and correspondence relating to Induction
  • Devise and Manage systems for collecting and reporting information and statistics as required

  • Participate in the Induction and Orientation of newly appointed staff
  • To consider and plan Induction Events liaising with New Starters and provide leadership to the many team contributing to Induction
  • To work with Senior Management to manage the development and delivery of Induction
  • Prioritise and organise own workload in order to contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of own and department workflow
  • Communicate daily, via telephone, facetoface and using electronic methods, with staff of all levels both internal and external
  • Use initiative and manage own workload independently, referring to Line Manager or training colleagues when difficulties are encountered
  • Identify opportunities to income generate, investigate the viability and organise event as appropriate
Provide mentoring for junior members of staff
