We're looking for a confident, part time,
Community Host to help organise reception and meet and greet our members at
Square Works.


Square Works offers the only high-end and fully serviced offices and co-working space within a private members club in Bristol. As the winner of the 2022 Bristol Property Awards 'best co-working space' award, this is a business that is going from strength to strength, with this exciting position providing the opportunity to be a part of it


This is more than just a working space - it is a community where our members enjoy an exciting programme of members' events, including networking, wellbeing, and social events on a regular basis (hello prosecco Thursdays).

Details of the Community Host role:

  • Welcoming visitors and members developing relationships that reflect the Square Works vision
  • Complete onboarding process (we use Nexudus) for all new members, ensuring they have everything they need to get started as soon as possible
  • Use the members portal to ensure that all members enquiries are handled quickly and efficiently
  • Maintain accurate and timely administration records of work tasks on front of house daily reports and weekly meetings, to ensure all information is handed over correctly and followed up efficiently
  • Assist with the set up and management of any members' events
  • Assisting with operational and administrative tasks
  • Handle any complaints effectively and in line with the Square Works guidelines
  • Be confident and knowledgeable about Square Works to enable you to carry out viewings

Hours of work & salary:


  • Part time, 20 hours per week
  • You will work to a fixed pattern (usually 3pm 7pm) between Monday and Friday
  • Package of £13,000 (based on 20 hours per week), comprising a basic salary of £12,000 plus £1000 in ontarget bonuses

Who is our Community Host?


You will excel at customer service; have a nothing is too much trouble attitude, a positive nature and an unflappable temperament.

You will be a confident communicator and be a fantastic advocate for the Square Works brand and values.


Youll be extremely organised and able to handle the administrative side of the role whilst coping with any interruptions that may occur if members have questions.

You will also show exceptional attention to detail, be trustworthy and have a great sense of humour


The next steps:


Applicants who are successfully shortlisted will be invited to a first-round telephone interview with a member of the HR team.

Success at that stage would lead to a final round in-person interview with the management team at Square Works.
