Supporting the Global Head of Bids & Tenders, you will be responsible for creating compelling bids on time for our Private Jet, Commercial Jet and Cargo divisions.

The Bids & Tenders Department is a small specialist team who are focused on supporting new business across the company.

We work globally on high-value pitches across all divisions and brands.

We produce compelling proposals and tender responses to a high standard. We are a central service to the business globally, and work with different divisions and brands.


Job Description:

To help execute strategic bids by developing submissions that will ultimately contribute to driving revenues.


Responsibilities:


  • Be the lynchpin in the team for the production of compliant and professionally produced proposals (within deadlines).
  • Work alongside the rest of the team (Bid Designer, Contract Coordinator etc.)
  • Working with the rest of the business, identifying key stakeholders, information gathering, fact finding
  • Keeping the Legal department informed of any business risks identified in the RFP
  • Using webportals, public sector notices for new business opportunities
  • Global bids understanding language, style, cultural differences.
  • Organisation of projects deadlines in team calendars, reminders, time difference considerations
  • Capturing and recording submissions, wins and losses and feedback.
  • Updating and maintaining the bid library (CV's, image collation, case studies)
  • Responding to and managing the project overall

Qualifications:

Key Skills

  • Previous experience of proposals and bids is favourable
  • Familiarity of reading and understanding requirements from/RFP's/RFI's/EOI's
  • Effective copywriting
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail and organisational skills
  • MS Office a must (knowledge of Adobe InDesign desirable but not essential)
