Admin Assistant - role overview:
This Admin Assistant opportunity is a role for an IT literate individual with a good telephone manner. Previous law experience is desirable but not essential. It is more important to have drive and ambition combined with strong organisational skills.

Admin Assistant - key requirements:

  • Strong IT literacy
  • Working knowledge of Case Management Systems
  • Good working knowledge of Money Laundering Guidelines
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Good typing skills
  • Ability to work well within a team

Admin Assistant - key responsibilities:

  • Communicating with clients
  • Ensuring excellent service standards and maintaining high client satisfaction
  • Assisting the Private Client team in the smooth and efficient running of the Department.
  • Scanning and assisting with distribution of daily post
  • Organising outgoing post including by hand or special deliveries
  • Printing, scanning, photocopying and archiving documents and files
  • Liaising with archiving personnel regarding retrieval and return of archived files
  • Filing and organising the filing system
  • Updating data on the case management system
  • Taking phone messages
  • Making calls to check bank details
  • Attending and contributing to team meetings
  • Requesting and collecting cheques
  • Liaising with the accounts department
  • Assisting in organisation of meetings
  • Assisting with new starters / work experience staff
  • Assisting with monitoring and ordering office supplies
  • Assisting with preparation of marketing events
  • Undertaking training when required
  • Any other administrative tasks as required
