Description
Duties include but not limited to:
- Developing healthy and balanced meals in discussion with residents and staff and also in accordance with Health & Safety Regulations.
- Preparing meals according to the resident's care plan and medical needs, such dysphagia and allergies.
- Considering residents preferences that includes what kind of drink and food they want and how they want it to be taken.
- Promoting independence through meal times.
- Ensuring Protected Meal Time is maintained.
- Considering residents religious and cultural backgrounds that might affect their dietary requirements.
- Monitoring kitchen stocks and ordering supplies.
- Ensuring high standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained.
- Ensuring the safekeeping of the kitchen and storerooms is maintained at all times to provide a safe working environment.
- Attending training courses related to job role.
- Working as part of a team to create a comfortable and safe environment.
- Complying with Health & Safety, Fire Regulations and other Beverley Park Nursing Home policies.
Salary:
From £12.00 per hour
