Main Purpose of Role

  • To provide professional and efficient administrative and systems support to the UKCA Medical Devices Body Team and support/monitor all SGS affiliate offices managing medical devices clients
  • Ensure the highest level of service to our customer through efficient serviced delivered

Key Accountabilities

  • Provide technical administration support to the Medical Devices Team
  • Manage the UKCA Medical Devices central inbox ensuring that all communications are passed to the relevant team member
  • Follow up regulatory communications, requests for information and MHRA alerts.
  • Ensure all communications to affiliates and the medical device team are effectively delivered
  • Maintain and update the Medical Device SharePoint site
  • To liaise with the I.T. development teams for new internal systems to ensure capability to meet Medical Device regulatory requirements
  • Support the process for managing the control of documents ensuring that documents are released as per the applicable document, format and control procedures
  • Assist in any project required for the AB0120 medical devices team
  • Write and raise internal CAPA's,(MIRs) for continual improvement opportunities arising from both internal and external audits and operational activity.
Finance

  • Management of financial transactions
  • Raise purchase orders
  • Analyse the number of certificates for affiliates quarterly invoices
  • Raise affiliate invoices every month
  • All outstanding debt to be investigated with the affiliate and escalate if no resolution of payment can be made
Data Analysis

  • Running and analysing quarterly KPI data to be sent to the affiliates
  • Provide overview of affiliates not meeting KPI targets in each quarter for CAPA's to be raised
  • Provide monthly certificate data and analysis for the MHRA and internal UKAB oversight
  • To monitor and action all overdue visits, CARs, concessions and suspensions
Projects

  • Assist in any project required for the UKCA medical devices team
  • Support other duties as defined by the Line Manager.
  • Ensure full compliance with the Company's Code of Integrity, and act in accordance with SGS UK's Equality & Diversity Policy and ensure others do so
