We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Operations Senior Team Lead to join our team. This role will play a crucial role in supporting transportation and distribution operations within our supply chain.

The primary responsibility will be to oversee and manage the warehouse team, ensuring efficient and effective execution of all warehouse activities.

The role will collaborate closely with various stakeholders, including transportation providers, distribution centres, and internal cross functional teams, to optimize supply chain processes and achieve operational excellence.


Responsibilities:


Warehouse Operations Management:

  • Lead and supervise the warehouse team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure smooth operations.
  • Oversee all warehouse activities, including, but not limited to receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods.
  • Develop and implement processes and procedures to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and safety within the warehouse.
  • Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and coordinate with Asset Management, Supplier Management & Procurement, and Planning Teams to ensure optimal stock availability maintaining Customer KPI's.

Transportation and Distribution Support:

  • Collaborate with transportation providers to coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely and costeffective delivery of goods.
  • Work closely with distribution centers to streamline order fulfilment processes and optimise inventory flow.
  • Monitor transportation and distribution performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions to enhance overall supply chain efficiency.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify training needs to develop the skills and capabilities of the warehouse team.
  • Ensure compliance with Customer, Commercial and Safety Regulations and promote a culture of safety awareness among team members.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Utilise supply chain management systems and tools to analyse data, identify trends, and generate reports on warehouse and transportation performance.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to management based on data analysis to drive process improvements and cost savings.

Required Qualifications:


  • Proven experience (minimum of 5 years) in warehouse operations, transportation, and distribution, with at least 2 years in a leadership or team lead role.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles, practices, and industry trends.
  • Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and transportation management systems (TMS).
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with crossfunctional teams and external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications**:


  • A Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
