Job Overview

Are you a QC professional looking for a fantastic opportunity to move into a new role which offers real potential for growth and development? To be considered for this role, you will ideally have proven experience working within a similar role within a quality environment, ideally with experience working within a GMP manufacturing or testing environment.

You will also be motivated, resilient and have excellent attention to detail.

What will you be responsible for?

Collecting, processing, and analysing Environmental Monitoring (EM) samples in a timely manner in support of a busy, highthroughput manufacturing function.
Performing receipt checks and QC release of incoming raw materials for manufacture.
Report and trend Environmental Monitoring data, communicating any adverse trends to Senior QC personnel.
Support batch release in a timely manner with all associated QC documentation.
Responsible for the daytoday maintenance of the QC areas and equipment.
Carry out tasks allocated by Senior members of the QC team in a timely and compliant manner.
Assist in the authoring and update of QC documentation.
Where required, support laboratory investigations and root cause analysis.
Assist in the qualification and commissioning of equipment and services.
Ensure all cleaning regimes are carried out and all controlled areas are maintained to a high standard.
Carry out any further activities allocated by facility management as per business requirements.
Adhere to high standards of Health & Safety and promote these standards within team and throughout the company.
Maintain own training records and proactively seeking out development opportunities.

What are we looking for?

Essential

BSc in Microbiology or other relevant scientific discipline (Biochemistry, Immunology.) or equivalent laboratory working experience.
Experience in aseptic technique.
Selfstarter, detailoriented, datadriven, and a team player.
Excellent communication skills to support interactions within the business and with external parties.
Ability to work in a dynamic environment and to constantly adapt as required in alignment with.

Experience working within a GMP manufacturing or testing environment desirable, or demonstratable experience of working within a quality environment e.g., ISO 9001 or ISO 13485 standards.
Understanding of safe working practices and risk assessment within laboratory settings.
Strong written and oral skillset in order to prepare technical reports, documents and SOP's.
Right to work in the UK is essential.

Desirable
