Job Overview


Are you a QC professional looking for a fantastic opportunity to move into a new role which offers real potential for growth and development? To be considered for this role, you will ideally have proven experience working within a similar role within a quality environment, ideally with experience working within a GMP manufacturing or testing environment.

You will also be motivated, resilient and have excellent attention to detail.


What will you be responsible for?

  • Collecting, processing, and analysing Environmental Monitoring (EM) samples in a timely manner in support of a busy, highthroughput manufacturing function.
  • Performing receipt checks and QC release of incoming raw materials for manufacture.
  • Report and trend Environmental Monitoring data, communicating any adverse trends to Senior QC personnel.
  • Support batch release in a timely manner with all associated QC documentation.
  • Responsible for the daytoday maintenance of the QC areas and equipment.
  • Carry out tasks allocated by Senior members of the QC team in a timely and compliant manner.
  • Assist in the authoring and update of QC documentation.
  • Where required, support laboratory investigations and root cause analysis.
  • Assist in the qualification and commissioning of equipment and services.
  • Ensure all cleaning regimes are carried out and all controlled areas are maintained to a high standard.
  • Carry out any further activities allocated by facility management as per business requirements.
  • Adhere to high standards of Health & Safety and promote these standards within team and throughout the company.
  • Maintain own training records and proactively seeking out development opportunities.

What are we looking for?

Essential

  • BSc in Microbiology or other relevant scientific discipline (Biochemistry, Immunology.) or equivalent laboratory working experience.
  • Experience in aseptic technique.
  • Selfstarter, detailoriented, datadriven, and a team player.
  • Excellent communication skills to support interactions within the business and with external parties.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and to constantly adapt as required in alignment with.
- compliance and business needs.

  • Experience working within a GMP manufacturing or testing environment desirable, or demonstratable experience of working within a quality environment e.g., ISO 9001 or ISO 13485 standards.
  • Understanding of safe working practices and risk assessment within laboratory settings.
  • Strong written and oral skillset in order to prepare technical reports, documents and SOP's.
  • Right to work in the UK is essential.

Desirable

  • Experience working within a GMP manufacturing or testing environment desirable, or demonstratable experience of working within a quality environment e.g., ISO 9001 or ISO 13485 standards.
