Description

Our client is an established Engineering facility in
Bodmin, with years of experience providing product solutions for a wide variety of companies.

We are currently looking for a
Machine Operator to join their well-established team.

Monday to Friday day shifts only. The team is well established and full training and induction will be provided, with opportunity to learn and progress.

Salary:
£25,000 - £28,000, negotiable dependent on experience & qualifications

Hours of work: 39 Hours per week, 7am to 4:15pm, Mon to Thursday with a 12:15 finish on Fridays.

Trained with relevant Engineering qualifications or apprenticeship to NVQ3 level or equivalent (ideal)
35 years experience of machining with proven ability to carry out other disciplines within machine shop environment (Ideal)
Able to demonstrate practical engineering skills, including Milling, Turning & Boring on manual machines
Webster Bennett (Vertical) and Kearns Richards (Horizontal)
Able to read & understand drawings, carry out relevant mathematical calculations and work to 0.01mm tolerances
Shows attention to detail in following drawings & checking final product against drawing
Able to work well as part of a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
GCSE qualifications in English and Maths (or equivalent)
5 weeks Annual Leave, plus Bank Holidays
