Alexander Steele has partnered with a leading global Food manufacturer that has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Production Planner to join their planning team and ensure that the production schedule is in line with customer demand, considering production capacity and material availability.


Key responsibilities:


  • Ensure customer delivery and maximise the efficiency of the production process.
  • Analyse manufacturing requirements, and operational issues.
  • Work within the S&OP process to plan annual production of critical products.
  • Scheduling the usage of ingredients and materials to ensure optimal production.
  • Monitoring material supply flow and identifying any shortages or bottlenecks in usage that may arise.
  • A tertiary qualification in Production, Supply Chain or equivalent will be preferred.
  • At least 2 to 3 years Production Planning or Scheduling experience in a FMCG manufacturing environment is required.
  • Good analytical skills and experience using ERP systems.
Salary will be circa £30K to £40K + Benefits.

The role will be based onsite (Mon to Fri) at their plant in the Essex area.
