An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Dermatology Skin Cancer Services for a full time Patient Pathway Coordinator to join our busy administrative team.

This is an exciting and challenging role within the team in which the post holder would have an opportunity to make a direct positive impact on patient's experiences within the Trust.


The successful applicant will be responsible for coordinating the pathways of patients, booking outpatient appointments, assisting with the administrative processes as well as sitting in clinics and multi-disciplinary meetings.

The post holder must be IT literate and have the ability to navigate trust IT systems.

The role requires the ability to liaise with all disciplines of staff i.e. Directorate Managers, Consultants, Registrars, Nurses and administrative colleagues.

The post holder will provide a range of administrative support to the multi-disciplinary clinical team.

The key responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following tasks:


  • Managing Doctors leave
  • To sit in and coordinate skin cancer clinics to ensure the clinics run smoothly
  • Ensuring cancer targets are being met
  • Actioning referrals
  • Restructuring clinics on request
  • Making sure that clinics are cashed up correctly
