An opportunity has arisen for a Nursing Associate to join the friendly Lower Lea Valley Integrated Community Team. The service covers the hours of 08:00 - 22:00 7 days a week.
The post offers varied and interesting community experience in a well supported environment and is an ideal opportunity for a Nursing Associate interested in working in the community.
Applicants will need to demonstrate the ability to assess, plan, provide and evaluate evidence-based nursing care for a wide range of conditions.
The team covers a 7 days a week service and therefore a flexible approach to working is required.Individuals will be:

Demonstrate the ability to assess, plan, provide and evaluate evidence-based nursing care for a wide range of conditions.
Will have experience in using electronic records and be able to be a mobile worker
Have a full valid driving licence and access to a car to use regularly for business purposes is essential (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010)

The Nursing Associate will demonstrate a breadth of knowledge across the lifespan and across the fields of nursing, providing holistic and person centred care and support for people of all ages in a variety of settings.
The Nursing Associate works independently under the leadership of registered nurses, working within the sphere of nursing and care and within all aspects of the nursing process.
The range of identified skills will be determined by the Deputy Locality Manager and Locality Clinical Lead to reflect the needs of patients with complex health needs under the care of the Team.
The post holder will provide direct supervision to Health Care Assistants and will be supported in this role by registered nurses and other clinical leaders within the integrated community team.
