Your New Role
We have a fantastic opportunity for a
permanent, site-based Administrator to join our
Sheffield Highways team.
Our Transport Infrastructure business supports National Highways, Local Authority Highways, Highways Scotland and Rail customers.
We transform journeys and help communities thrive by making roads safer, railways smoother and our streets and green spaces cleaner.
Working through locally based teams, we support communities by helping to create better, safer and more pleasant places through the provision of integrated highway design, well-designed streets, well-maintained grounds, modern public lighting and efficient winter maintenance solutions.
And with 4.8 million journeys a day on UK railways, we are also hard at workday and night maintaining the railways with the latest signalling systems, upgraded track and overhead lines and regular asset inspections.
Ultimately, investing to create well-functioning, safe spaces which minimise disruption, keep people moving and support thriving communities.
The
Administrator plays an important part in delivering effective, efficient & excellent customer service throughout the processing and resolving of customer enquiries and complaints.
You will be responsible for the administration process of:
- Processing customer enquiries from start to finish, acting promptly to ensure the correct process is actioned and to ensure the customer enquiry journey is managed well throughout
- Ownership of all processed customer enquiries through to completion, including case progress management and liaison with Amey service delivery departments
- Ensuring excellent quality standards of customer service are delivered, maintained & exceeded, in line with departmental processes and best practice
