Hobson Prior are seeking a Head of Research to join an pioneering organization on a permanent basis, located in the UK.

Our Client is focused on providing support for patients with incurable blood cancers.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.

Key Responsibilities:

For this role, you will contribute to the development of the Research Strategy and Business Plan as well as lead on its implementation.
Provide leadership and management for the delivery of research outputs in support of the company's strategic objectives, demonstrating the impact of the research we conduct and fund.
Engage key research opinion leaders and company grant holders in external stakeholder engagement.
Attend and speak at relevant conferences and research groups as well as represent the company on relevant research groups, coalitions, and forums.
Ensure the success of the Research team by leading and developing them.
Establish a budget for research and manage it according to it
